Jewellery Craziness
It's such a massive pleasure and excitement for me to find so many designers making ridiculous over-the-top jewellery, these are the heroes to which I aspire... It seems trashy kitsch doesn't even have to be cheap! I love all these items so much (if anyone fancies buying me a present sometime?) but I think my absolute favourite is the white gold Diorette ring by Victoire de Castellane, she must be at least as nutty as I am, and Dior let her loose in their collection!
Othe super faves are Tarina Tarantino's new Floriculture, Cartier's Panthere ring, these amazing Wendy Gell necklaces, and Betsy Johnson's Bohemian necklace. Oh to be able to create such stuff! One day Zelly, one day....

Incredible Inedibles
Well I have been trying to 'be good' with food for quite a long time - ie.not eating nice things.
Thankfully there are a select few very clever designers that seem to understand the need to be associated with tasty stuff, so if I can't eat it at least I can wear it, or put it in my hair, or bathe in it...
Goldilocks Barrettes, Little Creations Jewellery and LoveLee Soaps are my 3 favourite fantastic creators of guilt free foodstuffs!

Art you're allowed to laugh at
Why should art always be serious? When art was a form of entertainment in the Salons of the Enlightenment I'm sure they must have had a bit of fun sometimes, but the critics will always look for hidden meanings, alterior motives, political agendas... isn't it nice sometimes to think "who cares what it means, I like looking at it?!"
Banksy has got it sussed, as has Trek Kelly who did this fantastic freaky Frida, and the incredible pavement artist, Julian Beever

Nostalgic 80s toys
Lets do this chronologically. Here are my favourite things from back in the day when I was a wee nipper (to be fair I'm not much bigger now, but apparently I'm wiser). In the 80s toys really were good, and these are the things that rocked my little world...
Wuzzles, Keypers, Globugs, Sylvanian Families, the Getalong Gang, Poochie, Rainbow Brite, She-Ra, Thundercats, Dungeons and Dragons (the cartoon NOT the game!), old Sindy dolls with big heads and pink tutus, Care Bears, My Little Ponies, Snugglebums, Fraggles, Doozers, and strange little jewel-like dolls which folded up and turned into pendants or rings but I can't remember for the life of me what they were called.
